Meet Ted Wight
Ted is the consumate booster for our great city on the river. Ted’s roots go back to the original French fur trappers who took to the beauty of the area & ideal location for business.
Homes and architecture is Ted’s passion. Today Ted lives in a Bernoudy-designed mid-century gem built in 1950 and shares his family’s 1850’s Pike County farmhouse that is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Ted also enjoys gardening, art, traveling, exercising, cooking & serving on various charity boards.
Ted has always been on the forefront of marketing. Ted’s StLouis.Style has over 1000 hits a day and this year he launched new sites: LadueStyle.com, ClaytonStyle.com & CWEStyle.com. You can also connect with these sites on Instagram & Facebook.
Public relations is important to Ted’s marketing mix. His properties have been featured in The New York Times, The Week, St. Louis Magazine, Curbed, HG TV, FOX, KMOV & more. Events are a key tool with his listings being venues to launch cars, performances, movies, TV shows & cocktail receptions. Ted has had 4 of his listings featured as the Ladue News Decorator’s Show House.
Ted grew up in Ladue and attended St. Louis Priory for high school. Ted’s education continued at Lake Forest College on the North Shore of Chicago and later received his Executive MBA from Washington University’s Olin School of Business. Ted has two sons, Ira and Nick, who are pursuing careers in medicine and law.
